Discover my work with The Healing Forest
The Healing Forest Initiative is a powerful testament to the vision of inviting people away from the destructive patterns of industrialized urban life and into the nurturing embrace of the wilderness. This initiative represents the collective efforts of generous individuals who have extended a helping hand as stewards of the Earth. Together, they formed Shepherds of the Wilderness, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the land for the healing of forests and their inhabitants, including the people who seek solace within them.
Middle Ear Media was honored to play a part in bringing The Healing Forest Initiative to the digital forefront. I understood the importance of creating a website that not only conveyed the organization’s noble mission but also engaged and inspired visitors to join their cause.
Web Design
The web design for The Healing Forest was inspired by the serene and nurturing essence of the wilderness. I wanted the website to be a digital reflection of the peace and harmony that the Healing Forest Initiative aims to cultivate. The design elements, color palette, and imagery were carefully chosen to create a visually compelling and emotionally resonant experience for visitors.
Front-end Development
My expertise in front-end development allowed me to translate the design into a fully functional and user-friendly website. I ensured that the site was not only visually appealing but also responsive, making it accessible and enjoyable on devices of various sizes. The user experience was at the forefront of my development, as I aimed to provide a seamless and engaging interaction for all visitors.
Content Management System (CMS)
To empower The Healing Forest Initiative to manage and update their website with ease, I developed the site using the WordPress content management system. This choice allowed for efficient content management and ensured that the organization could keep their online presence fresh and up to date.
I am proud to have played a role in creating an online platform that represents the Healing Forest Initiative’s mission with sincerity and integrity. It’s my belief that a strong and visually appealing digital presence can help amplify the message and purpose of organizations like Shepherds of the Wilderness.
