Discover my work with Save The Wild UP
At Middle Ear Media, I had the opportunity to work with Save The Wild UP, a volunteer organization dedicated to defending the clean water and wild places of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula from the dangers of sulfide mining. The original website was no longer flexible enough to handle the growth of the organization, and it was in need of a complete overhaul.
Web Redesign and Front-end Development
I worked closely with Save The Wild UP to understand their unique needs and goals. I began by conducting a thorough audit of the existing website to identify areas for improvement. I then used that information to create a new design that was not only visually stunning but also highly functional and easy to navigate.
CMS
I also implemented a powerful Content Management System that would allow the organization to easily update and manage the website. This included the integration of a number of different features, such as a blog and a donation system, to help the organization achieve their goals.
Security Enhancement
Security was also a top priority for Save The Wild UP, so I made sure to enhance the website’s security to protect both the organization and its visitors.
SEO
SEO was also an important aspect of the redesign. I ensured that the website was optimized for search engines and that it would be easy for visitors to find the information they needed. I also helped the organization with their content strategy.
Maintenance
Once the website was completed, I provided ongoing maintenance and support to ensure that it remained fully functional and secure. I also helped the organization with regular updates and backups to keep their website running smoothly.
Overall, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a dedicated and passionate organization. The new website has been a great success, and I am proud to have been a part of the effort to defend the clean water and wild places of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
