Web fonts are awesome! I don’t think that can be denied. It’s hard to believe it took so long for the technology to evolve. The only drawback is the extra time it takes for the page to load. This shouldn’t be a problem as long as restraint is used when deciding how many web fonts to use. There are some really great web font services out there. Google Fonts has a huge selection, a very friendly interface, and is free. Adobe Typekit also has a large selection, but charges for the service. Both Google Fonts and Adobe Typekit serve the fonts for you. Font Squirrel is a service that helps you find free fonts and create web fonts that can be embedded on your website.
