MEM Core is a professional, free WordPress Theme. It’s designed to look good and work on any device or screen size. To do this, it incorporates responsive design elements such as a fluid grid, adaptive images, and media queries. With MEM Core, you can do the following to customize your site and make it look unique.
- Set a background color
- Set a background image
- Select a new header image
- Add some widgets to sidebar
- Add some widgets to footer
This Theme relies on the MEM Core Functionality Plugin to do much of it’s custom functions including the following.
- Remove WP version info from head and feeds (for security)
- Remove Theme Editor from WP admin panel (for security)
- Remove Plugin Editor from WP admin panel (for security)
- E-mail address protection (for security)
- Add buttons to the WP visual editor toolbar
- Customize the function of the buttons in the WP visual editor
- Change the length of the excerpt
- Add favicon
- And much more…
MEM Core is optimized for multi-author blogging. Information from each author’s bio, including the following is automatically added to the bottom of each blog page.
- Name
- Gravatar image
- Description
Various page layouts, including the following, are available.
- One Collumn
- Two Column Offset (Default)
- Two Column
- Three Column
- Four Column

Installation
- Uncompress memcore.zip
- Upload entire folder to the /wp-content/themes/ directory.
- Activate the Theme through the ‘Appearance’ menu in WordPress.
